길다면 길고 짧다면 짧은 1학기가 끝나고 기다리던 여름방학이 시작되었다. 나는 여름방학 시작과 동시에 학교에 방과후를 하러 2주간 등교했다. 처음에는 방학에도 아침 일찍 학교에 와야한다는 사실에 우울하고 짜증도 났지만 다니다 보니 방학에도 열심히 학교에 나와 수업을 듣는게 뿌듯하고 방학을 알차게 보내고 있다고 느껴졌다.

그렇게 2주동안 열심히 학교에 등교하며 시간을 보내고 방과후가 없는 주가 시작되고 나는 내가 하고 싶던 공부를 했다. 평소에 관심이 많던 카메라,편집,동물,유아교육과에 대해 공부를 하니 내가 몰랐던 점도 많이 알게 되었고 내 진로에 대해 생각해 볼 수 있었다. 방학동안 그동안 다니던 학원을 쉬며 나를 알아가고 미래를 고민하며 지내니 생각도 정리가 되어 좀더 계획적으로 미래,진로를 설계할 수 있었다.

방학동안 공부만 하는건 나의 체력도 딸렸기에 친구들,가족들과 다같이 놀러가기도 했다. 나의 친한 친구의 생일을 기념하여 다같이 만나 영화도 보고 선물도 주며 추억을 쌓았고, 나의 가장 오래된 11년지기 친구인 박시현의 집에 집들이를 가서 그동안 못 한 이야기도 나누고 맛있는 음식을 먹기도 하며 스트레스를 풀었다. 아빠를 따라 가족이 다같이 당일치기로 서울을 갔다가 오려고 했지만 오전 10에 출발하고 다음날 오전 5시에 집에 도착하는 힘들었지만 두고두고 말할 사건도 생겼다. 그리고 무엇보다 내가 가장 좋았던 것은 가족들과 경주 여행을 간 것 이다. 온 가족이 경주에 가서 할아버지 산소에 가서 인사도 드리고 다같은 거리를 걸으며 이곳 저곳 구경을 했다. 호텔에 와서는 다같이 수영을 했다. 저녁은 내가 너무너무 좋아하는 소고기를 잔뜩 먹고 택시기사님이 꼭 가보라고 한 ‘동궁과 월지‘에 야경을 보러 갔다. 과거 건축물,궁궐등을 좋아하데는 나에게는 정말 잊지 못 할 아름다운 야경이었다. 야경을 보던 중 갑자기 비가 와서 우리 가족만 우산 없이 비를 맞으며 다녔지만 그 마저도 너무나 행복했고 시원했다. 영원이란게 존재하지 않는 걸 알면서도 이 감정이 영원하면 좋겠다고 바랄 정도였다. 그러고는 쫄딱 젖은 상태로 택시를 부르지 못 해 갈에서 택시를 잡으려 애를 쓰는 것도 꽤나 웃겼다. 호텔에서는 다같이 간식을 먹으며 장난을 치기 바빴다. 평소에 바빠 못 하던 말도 나누고 깔깔 거리며 농담을 치다보니 어느새 밤이 되어 기분 좋은 잠을 잤다. 다음 날에는 유명한 두부집에 갔는데 우리 가족은 운이 좋게 거의 기다리지 않고 들어갔다. 경주 여행은 정말 여러가지는 경험하고 느꼈다. 그만큼 이번 여름 방학 동안 내가 가장 기억에 잘 남고 좋아하는 여행이었다.

여행이 끝나고 나는 개학을 준비했다. 알차고 즐겁게 보낸 여름방학이 어느새 끝나가고 있었다. 나는 나의 친구와 다 쓴 필기구와 노트, 너무 많이 써서 터져버란 아코디언 파일 등을 구매하고 수다를 떨었다. 나와 친구 둘다 학교도 다르고 관심사도 다르지만 항상 만나기만 하면 할 말이 끊이지를 않는다. 항상 티격태격 해도 계속 같이 다니는 이유가 서로가 서로를 잘 배려하고 이해하고 신뢰하기 때문인 것 같다.

그렇게 나의 여름 방학은 마무리가 되었다. 나른 방학보다 알차고 보람차게 보낸 고1 여름 방학이었다.

The long-awaited summer vacation has begun after the long or short first semester. At the beginning of summer vacation, I went to school for two weeks to do after school. At first, I was depressed and annoyed that I had to come to school early in the morning even during vacation, but as I went, I felt proud to come to school and take classes during vacation, and I was spending my vacation well.

After spending two weeks in school, spending time, and no after-school weeks, I studied what I wanted to do. Studying about cameras, editing, animals, and early childhood education, which I was usually interested in, I learned a lot of things I didn't know and I was able to think about my career path. Taking a break from the academy I had been attending during the vacation, getting to know myself, and thinking about the future, I was able to design the future and career more planned.

Studying during the vacation only took my stamina, so I went out with my friends and family. To celebrate my close friend's birthday, we met together, watched a movie, gave gifts, and made memories, and went to the house of my oldest friend of 11 years, Park Si-hyun, to talk about things we couldn't do, eat delicious food, and relieve stress. My family and I were going to go to Seoul for a day trip together with my dad, but it was difficult to leave at 10 a.m. and arrive home at 5 a.m. the next day, but there was an event that we had to talk about. What I liked the most was going on a trip to Gyeongju with my family. The whole family went to Gyeongju and said hello to their grandfather's grave, walked the same street, and looked around. When we came to the hotel, we all swam together. For dinner, I ate a lot of beef, which I really liked, and went to Donggung and Wolji, where the taxi driver told me to go, to see the night view. It was a beautiful night view that I could not forget because I liked architecture and palace lights in the past. It suddenly rained while watching the night view, so only my family was in the rain without an umbrella, but even that was so happy and cool. Even though I knew that eternity does not exist, I even hoped that this feeling would be eternal. Then, I couldn't call a taxi in a wet state, so it was quite funny to try to get a taxi on the way. At the hotel, we were all busy eating snacks and playing games. We talked and laughed at each other, which we were not usually busy, and we had a good night's sleep. The next day, I went to a famous tofu restaurant, and my family was lucky enough to go in without waiting. I experienced and felt many things about the trip to Gyeongju. That's how much, it was my most memorable and favorite trip during this summer vacation.

After the trip, I prepared for the start of school. The summer vacation, which was full and enjoyable, was already ending. I purchased writing instruments and notebooks that I had finished writing and chatting with my friend, and accordion files that burst out because I had spent so much. Both my friends and I have different interests at school, but we always have something to say whenever we meet. I think the reason we always go together, even if we always bicker, is that we are considerate, understand, and trust each other well.

Thus, my summer vacation was over. It was a summer vacation in the first year of high school, which was more fruitful and rewarding than a restless vacation.

방학 전에 인스타그램에서 영도의 한 카페에서 짱구 전시회가 열린다는 영상을 보고, 날씨가 덥기도 했고 갈지 말지 고민했지만, 여름 방학이기도 하고 그 카페는 예전에 자주 가던 곳이라 주말에 엄마와 함께 가기로 했습니다.

아침 일찍 도착했을 때, 이미 많은 사람들이 있었고, 입구부터 짱구 애니메이션의 장소들을 재현한 공간과 함께 그 애니메이션의 배경음악이 흐르고 있어 설렘을 느꼈습니다.

전시장 안에는 캠프장, 계곡, 온천 등 다양한 테마 구역이 있었고, 전시회는 매우 잘 꾸며져 있었습니다. 저는 사진을 많이 찍고, 중간에 있누 미니 게임도 즐기며 재미있게 시간을 보냈습니다. 마지막으로 기념품 가게에서 캐릭터가 그려진 파일과 텀블러를 구입했는데, 그 덕분에 전시회에 온 것이 정말 실감이 났습니다.

특히 좋았던 점은 전시회에 미션이 포함되어 있었다는 것입니다. 단순히 전시물을 구경하는 것이 아니라, 스탬프 모으기나 스마트폰을 활용한 보물찾기 같은 활동을 통해 참여할 수 있었습니다. 처음 해보는 활동이라 조금 헷갈렸지만, 직원들이 친절하게 도와주셔서 모든 미션을 끝마쳤습니다.

미션을 다 마친 후에는 엽서, 컵받침, 선풍기 같은 귀여운 상품을 받았고, 그 덕분에 더 뿌듯한 기분이 들었습니다. 전시회를 마치고 보니 시간이 정말 빨리 흘러 두 시간이 순식간에 지나갔다는 걸 깨달았습니다.

이번 전시회는 처음으로 가본 캐릭터 테마 전시였기에 기대와 약간의 걱정이 있었지만, 실제로 가보니 기대보다 훨씬 더 좋았습니다. 전시회도 잘 꾸며져 있었고, 활동도 재미있었으며, 상품을 받는 기쁨도 더해져 정말 즐거운 시간이었습니다. 만약 이런 전시회가 또 열린다면, 친구들과 함께 다시 가고 싶습니다.

The Most Memorable Experience of My Summer Vacation

The most memorable experience during my summer vacation was visiting a pop-up store with my mom.

Before the break, I saw a video on Instagram about a Crayon Shin-chan exhibition being held at a café in Yeongdo. Although the weather was hot and I wasn’t sure if I should go out, it was summer vacation, and the café was a place I used to visit often. So, on the weekend, my mom and I decided to go together.

Even though we arrived in the morning, there were already quite a lot of people, which surprised me. From the entrance, the venue was decorated with places from the Crayon Shin-chan animation, and the background music was also from the show. This made me feel excited and full of anticipation.

Inside, there were themed areas such as campsites, valleys, and hot springs. The exhibition was well-organized and filled with fun attractions. I took a lot of photos and enjoyed playing mini-games. At the end, we visited the gift shop, where I bought a file and a tumbler featuring the characters. It made the experience feel even more real.

What I liked most about the exhibition was that it included missions. Rather than just walking around and looking at things, we could participate in activities like stamp collecting and a treasure hunt using a smartphone. Since it was my first time doing something like that, I was a bit confused at first, but the staff were kind and helped me complete all the missions.

After finishing everything, I received cute and fun prizes like postcards, coasters, and fans. I felt proud of myself for completing the challenges. By the time we finished, nearly two hours had passed—I was surprised and realized how quickly time had flown by.

It was my first time attending a character-themed exhibition, so I was both excited and a little nervous, wondering if it might not live up to my expectations. But it turned out to be even better than I imagined. The exhibition was well-designed, the activities were engaging, and receiving the prizes made it even more enjoyable. If another exhibition like this is held in the future, I definitely want to go again with my friends.

방학 때 정말 많은 일을 했었다. 친구와 뒷산 계곡으로 놀러가기도 했고 해운대 반지공방에 가서 반지도 맞추어 보았다. 다음 학기를 준비하기 위해 학원을 가고 건강검진을 받는 등 재정비 시간을 가지기도 하였다. 그 중 가장 인상깊은 일들로 이 글을 채워나가고자 한다.

1 해운대:

반지 공방은 해운대에 있어서 지하철로도 한시간이나 걸렸다. 반지공방을 가 반지를 만들며 내 탄생석인 페리도트도 박았다. 반지는 완성까지 일주일이 걸려 일주일 뒤 다시 반지를 찾으러 해운대에 가길 기약했다.열심히 반지를 만든 우리에게 스스로 스파게티라는 보상을 주기로 했다. 레몬이 들어간 파스타와 고르곤졸라 피자를 먹었는데 레몬에 스파게티라니 신박하지 않을 수 없다. 해운대하면 바다이지 않은가? 조금의 비가 내리는 밤바다도 같이 걸었다.

일주일 후 약속한 반지 공방에서의 일정이 끝난 후 근처 시장으로 이동했다.벌꿀 아이스크림, 씨앗 호떡, 우동, 어묵을 먹었고 세안밴드를 샀다. 저 음식을 둘이서 먹은 양이 라니 믿을수가 있겠는가? 이번은 유명한 산책코스를 따라 길을 걸었는데 다음 날이 되니 다리가 떨렸다.

2 먹은 것들:

난 방학동안 정말 배가 고픈 날이 없이 살았다.

해운대에 가서 스파게티, 고르곤졸라 피자, 우동, 씨앗호떡, 어묵, 벌꿀 아이스크림, 메론 우유를 먹었다.

친구를 깡통시장으로 불러 볶음우동 두개와 어묵, 닭꼬치, 파르페, 아이스크림, 구운 아이스크림을 먹었다.

부산대로 놀러가 디저트 39, 고구마 치즈 떡볶이, 돈까스, 국밥, 오니기리, 치킨 카레를 먹었다.

이 외에 마라탕, 완당, 바지락 칼국수, 보쌈, 삼겹살 등을 먹었다.

What I Did During the Vacation

During the vacation, I had many different experiences and spent my time in meaningful ways. I went to a valley near my house with a friend, and I also visited a jewelry workshop in Haeundae to make a ring. To prepare for the next semester, I attended an academy and got a health checkup, taking time to reset myself. Among all these experiences, I’d like to share the most memorable ones.

1. Haeundae

The jewelry workshop was in Haeundae, and it took almost an hour to get there by subway. At the workshop, I made a ring with my birthstone, peridot, set into it. Since it took a week to finish, I promised to come back to Haeundae later to pick it up.

After working hard on the ring, my friend and I decided to reward ourselves with a meal at Sseuseuro Spaghetti. We ordered lemon pasta and gorgonzola pizza. A pasta with lemon was such a fresh and unique combination. Afterward, we took a walk along the Haeundae beach at night, with a light drizzle falling, which made the atmosphere even more special.

A week later, I returned to Haeundae to pick up my finished ring. Afterward, we went to a nearby market and enjoyed honey ice cream, seed hotteok, udon, and fish cake, and I also bought a headband. Honestly, it was hard to believe how much food we ate between the two of us! We also walked along a famous coastal trail, which left my legs trembling the next day

2. Food I Ate

I can honestly say that I never felt hungry during the vacation.

In Haeundae, I had spaghetti, gorgonzola pizza, udon, seed hotteok, fish cake, honey ice cream, and melon milk.

At Bupyeong Kkangtong Market, I ate two plates of stir-fried udon, fish cake, chicken skewers, parfait, ice cream, and grilled ice cream.

When I visited Busan National University, I had dessert from Dessert 39, sweet potato cheese tteokbokki, pork cutlet, gukbap, onigiri, and chicken curry.

Besides these, I also enjoyed malatang, mandu soup, clam kalguksu, bossam, and grilled pork belly.
