         <description><![CDATA[<div>I would use this ice cube tray to demonstrate changes of state and the difference between properties of liquids and solids.&nbsp;<br>I can demonstrate that in a solid the shape is fixed, but a liquid takes the shape of it's container.&nbsp;<br>I can also demonstrate the the physical change is reversible. </div>]]></description>

This is very similar to atoms needing to collide with the correct orientation for a reaction to occur! They also need enough energy to crack - the same as with collisions!</div>]]></description>
