For instance, Federal Government is responsible for Canada Post, Royal Police and currency. You could visit any province or city and these things are going to be the same. 

Provincial Government is in charge of school, parks and transportation on highways. Province builds schools. Also maintains highway parts located in the exact province. But more importantly, keep old parks in the shape and builds new parks.

Local Government is in control of local problems. They recycle and dispose garbage, perform construction in the city and build recreation complexes.

The reason for that is that I live in a big city in which we have a bunch of Municipal structures. For instance, roads, community centers, garbage disposal, constructions. It surrounds me very single day making it the most affective.
