In Almyros there is a rare forest with oak trees.There are rare animals such as peacocks and deer,too.
Almyros is an  agricultural town   which produces cotton,olive oil and wheat.
Every summer a bazaar festival takes  place on the 23 rd of August and lasts for eight days.People can buy clothes or other products there.Also,children and adults can eat differente types  of meat as well  as Halva Farsalon.
In addition,in recent years a rock festival takes place in our forest  Kouri and people from all over Grecee come to this event.
