The two new channels were operated by the Derana TV and the Sirasa TV.<br><strong>2005:</strong> The number of analog television channels in Sri Lanka increased to ten. The two new channels were operated by the Channel Eye and the TV1.<br><strong>2010</strong>: The two new channels were operated by the MTV and the Hiru TV.<br><strong>2014:</strong> The analog television broadcasting system in Sri Lanka was switched off.
