I've been here my whole life! I love everything about this area. I love the biking and outdoor activities that are in every facet of NWA. I live with my mom, dad, and younger brother. I love to watch TV and read books. I just really enjoy seeing moving stories. It is amazing to me that people can craft such in depth worlds and characters to show to a mass audience. I have been trying to create stories ever since I was young and one of my majors at the University of Arkansas is in Creative Writing. I also love to run and do things outdoors. I am a bit of an energetic person so being able to expend energy outside is very beneficial to me. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends. Something I have become recently aware of is my enjoyment of teaching. I came into the University exclusively wishing to be an author, but I became concerned that job prospects would not be exactly kind instantaneously. I have a few family members and friends who are teachers and by interacting with them I became interested in the idea of teaching. My mom has also always told me that I have a good personality for teaching (mostly she thinks I have a lot of patience, which I do sometimes). I decided to get into the education department this semester, so I am pretty new to all of the teaching stuff. Despite that I have been really enjoying it. My observations of different schools have been helpful in making me realize that I really enjoy interacting and working with kids.
