I would give Blended by Sharon M. Draper 3.8 stars bc it can teach you about how different people react to different races. If you are looking to learn more words, this book has a fair amount of vocabulary words to learn. It can also show many perspectives of Isabella, her parents, and the other characters in the story.

I would give the whole summer series: The summer I turned pretty, It's not summer without you, and We will always have summer by Jenny Han, a 4.5 stars bc I like the story line as in the characters, places, and what takes place. In my opinion, I think I would be on Team Conrad bc she loved him for the very beginning and that's who she ends up with when she gets married in the book. In all, I really enjoy reading romance like the summer series.

I would give The Tale of Despereaux by Kate Dicamillo 2.5 stars bc its just about a mouse saving the princess and i think its not that good to read, I don't like that genre of books in general. That's what i think in my honest opinion, so no hate to Dicamillo!

I would give The Cabin by Natasha Preston an 4.5 stars bc I love the amount of drama his book has, even though this book is YA the ending of this book is certainly a plot twist and has you shocked. I really wish there is a sequel to this book bc I want to know where Blake goes after what happens at the end.

I would give Barakah Beats by Maleeha Siddiqui and an 4.5 stars bc I can really relate to this story mostly I can relate to Nimra Sharif. As seen on the cover, she wears a hijab to school. I started wearing a hijab in 6th grade. I really relate and sometimes see myself in those situations. You should read this if love stories about muslim girl's life or ppl in general who wear hijabs and see their pov.

I would give Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch and an 3.5 bc there's lots of drama in this book, as our main character Lina is sent to Italy which then she is given a journal from her mother ( her mother died of cancer) and she puts the pieces together to figure out what happens in Italy when her mom lived there. I rly don't know if I like it or not so I'm in the middle for this one.

I would give Refugee by Alan Gratz an 3.5 bc I am very interested in books like this one for example. It leads by 3 characters, Isabel, Mahmoud, and Josef. Each of them are fleeing bc war is broken out in their hometowns. Mahmoud is in Syria escaping Aleppo, Josef is escaping Germany bc of the Nazis attack. Isabel is escaping Cuba bc of the strict leader Fidel Castro. Each of them are trying to ESCAPE their homes to find safer places to restart their lives. One word that is SOO IMPORTANT is the spanish word MANANA, which means in english tomorrow. Read the book and you will soon realize why.
