People need food to survive. In places that have soil rich in nutrients, and plant growing climate, crops are most likely to grow better. Civilians gather/harvest the food that was grown and either sell them to profit off it or they store it for the winter. Crop production is a huge part of survival because without farmers and people that grow crops, we wouldn't have food to buy. (this is excluding people that grow their own food to eat.)

Water is one of the most used matters in our world. Without it, humans wouldn't be able to survive. That is why people are most likely to live somewhere where water is easily accessible. It can be used for many reasons, such as farming, industry work, and transportation. People can also use it for personal reasons like, bathing, cleaning, and cooking.

Agriculture has been a thing since the beginning of time, but as much as it has pros to it, there are also some cons too. Farming and growing your own crops gives you lots of food and, is way less dangerous compared to hunting. A con is that sometimes there could be storms or natural disasters that could affect the growth and development of the plants.

Like I mentioned, water can be used for a great amount of things. The human race has learned to use water to its full potential helping us out in modern life. But mother nature can also cause natural disasters circling around water. I'm talking about floods, drought, thunder storms, tsunamis, etc.

Natural disasters are a major part of where you live and the precautions that you take. An example would be that if you live in an area that has lots of hurricanes or tornadoes, you would want to build your house differently so that it can withstand the disaster. But if you lived in a place with no natural disasters you wouldn't need to build your house differently.

There is only one pro for natural disasters and that is after a forest fire all of the ash and burnt material will then bio degrate and it will replenish the nutrients in the forest and give the plants time and room to grow. The rest are all cons, the first one is that on average natural disasters kill 45,000 people per year. The second and last one is that disasters cause people to flee from their countries with nothing. Also it causes billions in damages to homes and buildings.
