It sounds like an indigenous culture, a culture that is not known to everyone. I would use "magic-ridden" to describe them since they heavily depend on magic or use it in most of the parts of their live. I think we use such words depending on what is brought out. Yes, people could perceive the information differently and choose to describe this culture differently. To be honest, I do not know much about Kenyan culture to link this one. However, I do know some people in my culture do believe in magic and some of the beliefs of the Nacirema. For instance, magic is used to avoid pregnancy in some parts of the Indian culture. They also believe in people who get possessed so in order to ward off the evil eye/bad spirit is practiced.

It sounds like an ancient culture that keeps repeating because of the old peoples faith. I would use devoted to describe them because even though it is not a guarantee that they will recover they keep going back to the medicine men and the shrines. I used such words because the people of the nacirema culture are very loyal to their faith. the thing that my culture and this culture have in common is that we have rituals of removing bad spirits out of people.

1) it sounds like a culture that has questionable policies and morals, it takes about using torture on elderly people, and stripping away clothes. The temples sound like how the slaves were treated when they were on the slave trade and were being shipped. As a whole the culture sounds brutal and I hope doesn’t exist.

2) I would say terrifying and wrong. The way the people are treated and think of themselves even is not right, in fact it is scary. It is just not right how can you treat people like that.

3) from my upbringing I have learnt that this not how people should be treated.

4)
