I feel like a lot of people don't understand how many ELLs are coming into our schools and because of this, there's becoming a more lack of support. So this is not me disagreeing with the expert, it is me disagreeing with what she is disagreeing with as well. As we all know, there is so much more to just a test score. I asked very similar questions to the ESOL teacher in my school and she seemed to give similar responses. From all of the research and readings that I have done this semester, nothing about her answer surprised me.
