Dear Peeps! I am Hoo Shin May, a graduate of Sunway University with a degree in Contemporary Music (Audio Technology). I have 1.5 years of full-time experience as a Music Arranger at Q-dees, a leading kindergarten company in Malaysia. My work includes composing, sound design, mixing, songwriting, and voice-over recording using Logic Pro X and industry-standard techniques. I am eager to contribute my skills to new creative projects!

This cover was created in the year of 2022 during my year 2 Music Degree course in Sunway University (CMAT). We did this song for our Live Performance class and we are assigned to come out with a storyboard for the MV. The story is about how Disco music helps the "emo" girl become happier. We recorded all the instruments in our studio and I play key bass in this song and in charge of the audio part especially mixing in this song.

I was given raw and unprocessed sound for this project. I am really having fun doing this project and enjoy the process of experimenting with different plug-ins to design sound. I do a lot of automation to bring out the details for this project. Therefore, I have learned a lot of new editing skills and sound design methods from this project!

All the sound choices are chosen by myself to create a 30 seconds TVC ad. I really searched for sounds and layered some of them for the sound design part. I have done the automation to enhance the audio for the TVC ad. For the last section Mc Donald melody was composed by myself using different synthesizer sounds to match it with the song in the ad.
