this is Alexia and Pebbles 1.	Joe Schmoe we noticed that you didn’t add the opposite this messed you up because you didn’t put an addition sign and change the numbers to a negative. Which made you subtract instead of add 27 and 10. Did you know that had to add the opposite? 2.	Joe Schmoe you didn’t multiply right. This messed you up because you got 6 instead of 9.When you multiply three times three nine instead of six. How often do you multiply at home? 3.	Silly Sally you didn’t add the 12 and 28 you subtracted. This messed up your answer because when you have two negative numbers you add.How often do you practice at home? you need to practice at home more often. 4.	Silly sally you didn’t add the opposite. This messed you up because you were supposed to add 30 + 2.Do you practice equations at home because you need more practice.

1

Joe you did not add the and change the number to a negative. If you had changed it to a negative you would have got x = positive 36. Have you ever thought of practicing adding and subtracting negatives?

2

Joe you did distribute right. When you multiplied -3 times 2x you got -6x but when you multiplied -3 times -3 you put 6 instead of the actual answer being 9. So the real answer is positive 4.5. have you ever thought of practicing the distributive property?

3

When you subtracted -12 and -28 you were supposed to add them together and keep the sign . When you add them together you get -40. Then you divide by 4 and get -10. Have you ever thought of practicing division?

4

Sally you should have added 30 to both sides instead of subtracting 30.the rule is to do the opposite the opposite of subtracting is adding. If you had added you would have gotten 32. Then you divide by 5 and you get positive 6.4. Have you ever thought to practice opposite operations?

1. Joe Schmoe, you has 2 mistakes in your problem you didn't add right because you got 32 instead of 52 you messed up part of your problem which caused your whole problem to mess up even your answer.

2. joe Schmoe, on your second problem you didn't distribute right because you put 6 instead of 9 and since you didn't do the it caused your whole problem to be wrong. When your multiplying 3x3 you get 9 you added your problem and got 6. I'm just asking but, how often do you practice multiplication at home its fine it you don't do it a lot but I'm just saying you should practice more often so you could get better at it.

3. silly sally, your subtracting -12 form -28 and got -16 but thats not right your supposed to subtract it and it changes from a negative to positive which causes your answer to be -4 which it was positive 4. Add the opposite when your doing these problems

4. silly sally, you didn't add the same variables so you didn't do that and it caused your answer to be wrong then your answer was wrong because you messed up your problem.

1. Joe, I noticed that you subtracted 8x and 6x. I also noticed that you subtracted 27 and 10. You got wrong the first time and the second time your answer was wrong. So now I makes you whole equation wrong. It is confusing how it is but it is not a negative it has a subtraction sign in front so when you combine like terms then you subtract. Do you understand how to add and subtract integers?

2. Joe, I noticed that you change your subtraction sign to a plus sign. I also noticed that you multiplied wrong. If you multiply -3 * 3 it is supposed to equal nine. That makes your answer wrong twice because one you add other than subtracting so you answer is off. Do you understand you integer rules.

3. Sally, I noticed that you divided wrong so it is supposed to be 16 not -16. That makes you sign be wrong. Everything else look right. It makes it wrong on this problem. Do you no the tringle method.

4. Sally, I noticed that you did not combined like terms. So that is ten times hard to do like that. I noticed that you did not add when you was supposed to subtract. It makes you problem so like the answer is way off. Do you understand integers.

1. Joe, when you added -27 and -10 you were supposed to get -37, not -17. You added +10 to -27. Do you think you need to work on subtracting integers?2. Joe, I noticed when you multiplied -3 and -3 you said it was +6, but it is +9. Do you need to work on 3. Sally you’re so silly, you got -16 when you subtracted -28 from -12 and you should have got -40.4. Sally, you forgot to change the -30 into a +30 to add to +2, so you got the wrong answer!
