The formulation of mathematical theories is a big step into the milestone for having the ability to do this takes time and a lot of critical thinking and analyses. Giving credit to the wrong scientist for producing a mathematical conceptualization is not only a wrong act of acknowledgment, but this shall also dishearten the scientist who constructed these ideas. Natural Log (ln) is the amount of time needed to reach a certain level of continuous growth.

"ln" came from the Latin words logarithmus naturali, discovered by Scottish mathematician John Napier.

The first published use of the "ln" notation for the base-e logarithm was American ProfessorIrving Stringham's.
