Introduction
It is very hard to believe that carers that work in the health and social industry would ever discriminate against another person, but it does happen. It is important to be aware of the possibility of discrimination from everybody that you will work with while working in health and social care.
As a professional in health and social care it is part off the role to understand the bases of discrimination and to celebrate diversity and the rights of individuals so that nobody is discriminated..

Thee infringement of rights is when an individuals rights are discarded and not taken into consideration on such things like practising their cultures. This can make the individual feel devalued and feel like they got no self worth. In a care home individuals still have their rights. if they wish to go to church and follow their religions they should be allowed to do that safely and comfortably.

In a school children could argue which could leave one child on their own which could lead to bullying. Bullying could be picking on somebody everyday, or even nasty messages on social media which could be cyber bullying.

Marcus is a homosexual. For example in his football team he gets called names such as 'faggot' etc. This is discrimination because of sexual preference and orientation.
