In the time of Caesar, political assassinations wasn't a solution to political disputes, in fact it was quite the opposite; it instigated further violence. In this case; after Caesar's death, Mark Antony counterattack's by making the people of Rome kill Caesar's murderers.

However, in these times, assassinations are proving to be an effective method to end a SOME, not all, political disputes. When a person of interest is assassinated, instantly, the polls shoot up in the favor of the opposition and the opposition wins. These days, there are laws to prevent outright killing of parties or individuals suspected of involvement in the crime. These people exploit this law, by perhaps bribing the jury or hiring the best lawyers to ease their sentences or to get away with it completely. Ironically, heralds of peace die a violent death, due to them being the targets of such assassinations. For a few days, people are deeply affected by this, then we move on.

“Here's an interesting form of murder we came up with: assassination. You know what's interesting about assassination? Well, not only does it change those popularity polls in a big fucking hurry, but it's also interesting to notice who it is we assassinate. Did you ever notice who it is? Stop to think who it is we kill? It's always people who've told us to live together in harmony and try to love one another. Jesus, Gandhi, Lincoln, John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, John Lennon, they all said, "Try to live together peacefully." BAM! Right in the fucking head. Apparently we're not ready for that.”
― George Carlin

Assassination is the murder of a prominent person when executed by a third party or assassin, often a political leader or ruler, usually for political reasons or payment.yes, assassination is an end to all political disputes. The classic example is the assassination of joseph stalin. Tens of millions of people were killed. If two men were killed to save 30 million, is this sufficient justification? The majority of humanity would say yes. The few suffer and die for the many to live .

Yes, they do end political disputes. Even though it isn't quite the right choice, history proves that assassinations can end political disputes. Assassinations silence the voice of great leaders who probably around the time held great support and supposedly were on the verge of making the masses move. The common denominator in many of the assassinations is that the victimized leader was the last person with calibre among his fellow party or group. Once he is out of the picture, political instability naturally follows. During this time, the victim's group tries to recollect and reorganize their political power, but most of the times they run short of the manpower and end up losing their initial power. The group that opposes gets booed at and blamed for a while, but as years go by they take the power out from the victim's group and take it for themselves. This is a very saddening fact but it is a true fact. Hence, I believe assassinations end political disputes.

Yes, they end political disputes as they assassinate the leaders, the speculations and rumors surrounding them ends and people think of new people having new ideas. It also gives a restart feel and refreshing for the country as a whole. But for cases as in Gandhiji, it was really unfortunate to lose him. If he was alive, India would have more chances of being a better country. So we can say that assassinating a political leader could be good as well as bad depending on how a leader he/she is.

"Assassination is a form of murder where a prominent person (usually a politician)
is executed for reasons such as power or fame".Is assassination a way to end political conflict? Take a case: When a politician comes to power his ideologies is introduced to the public.A second party's ideology may come in conflict with the ruling parties ideologies. The second party in order to establish peace peace and harmony(it's policies) back again it decides to assassinate the ruling parties leader. After the leader is assassinated, the second party attempts to seize power, but a third party which believed in the ruling party is enraged by the second party's actions and attacks them. this leads to a period of political instability.Which leaves the country in ruins and chaos. This is seen in the lesson Julius Caesar where the mob of angry Romans are stirred into a state of anger and violence, the assassination of Caesar itself triggered the start of a civil war .Therefore assassination is not a means of solving

political disputes
