      <title>Marzano 9 &quot;Jot Thought&quot; by Scott Weinstein</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/weinsts/9926aoe2kesv</link>
<description>Think of a recent lesson you taught and how you would modify and adapt the lesson based on your new learning of the Marzano 9.

Directions for the “Jot Thought” engagement protocol: Jot down ideas on post-it notes (one idea per note) that you may incorporate the next time you teach a lesson on which you reflected . Please use the Strategies Matrix and Addendum to the Strategies Matrix as resources to guide your thinking.

<title>I like having teachers think about their own practice and colleagues who may do something well. &amp;nbsp; It gives teachers a chance to do a shout out. &amp;nbsp; It also lets us know who &quot;experts&quot; may be with a particular skill (so others can go ask questions.)</title>

<title>In special education, we utilize advance organizers on a consistent basis. &amp;nbsp;I find myself using a few select organizers throughout the year to maintain a level of familiarity. &amp;nbsp; In the future I would like to incorporate a few additional options, with an end goal of students being able to independently access or create their own advance organizers.</title>
