Yet when it comes to who you want to be, a boy or a girl, the world suddenly becomes less forgiving. While the world is slowly evolving, life under the social constructs of gender is still difficult. And many children still struggle with who they can't help but to be. There is a difference between sex and gender, everyone can agree with this. While sex is biology, gender can not be as easily decided. Gender is what the person declares themselves as. It is what they relate to and feel comfortable with, people still have a hard time fully understanding this and I think that is why many people still have such a negative stigma about genders.
