         <description><![CDATA[<div>After my initial read-through of the assessment, I feel quite excited about the project as it is something that I have never really experienced before. Having to plan out an idea and develop it into a short film will be a challenge but one I welcome. Recently, I have really enjoyed going to new places and capturing the moment through photography. I have always wanted to experiment more with videography and through this assessment I have the chance to do that. Based on the requirements of the project I believe that I will be able to test new techniques and methods to develop a unique video. My idea that I am thinking of promoting and working with will be around my photography portfolio and promoting my work to be able to expose myself to new audiences. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Walker, A 2016, ‘A photographer's safari.’, <em>PSA Journal</em>, vol. 82, no. 7.</div><div><br>Walker illustrates in his article the techniques and tricks that are best suited to shooting animals in the wild and close up. The author does this by presenting the article with his images and exploring what equipment is required in these environments. His research is proven through the detailed explanation given behind each statement made about his choices. This article is beneficial to my research as wildlife photography is part of the idea that I have chosen to work on. However, most of these techniques are related to the open safari environments of Africa which would not be suited to any wildlife photos used within this project. From this article and the work provided within this, Walker demonstrates his research and techniques are well suited to the safari environments. <br><br>Radu C 2016, ‘Addressing Multiple Target Audiences Through the Place Brand Slogan’, <em>Romanian Review of Regional Studies</em>, vol. XII, no. 2, pp. 31–38.<br><br>This article researchers around being able to target a range of audiences with one brand logo and slogan instead of creating different components for different markets and needs. The aim to be able to find common areas between the different target markets and use this to create a single brand image. The research focuses on a case study to implement best practices to target multiple audiences. This article has expressed to me the techniques I should use to be able to expose my idea to a range of audiences. The article does, however, state it can be a challenge to minimise your message down into one common area across multiple audiences. From the research, it can be drawn that it is natural to be able to target a range of audiences with one key message and can not be done by all markets.<br><br>Zarantonello, L, Schmitt, BH &amp; Jedidi, K 2014, ‘How to advertise and build brand knowledge globally.’, vol. 54, no. 4.<br><br>The authors of this article have researched the effectiveness of advertisements in different global markets. The main criteria were to determine the results of function versus experimental and local versus global. To achieve this goal the authors have used over 250 advertisements from over 20 different counties with a range of economic levels. The authors set out to convey the varying effectiveness using advertising appeals and components of brand knowledge. This article is highly relevant to my idea and research as I believe you also want your message to be received by a larger audience and this research demonstrates how effective certain methods are in doing that. The main limitation from this results from the dataset where the amount of commercials used in certain GDP breakdowns is either excessively above or below a median point which would result in biased results. Finally, I do find the authors have conducted a significant amount of research to reach their conclusions.<br><br><br>Zakas, N 2013, ‘The evolution of web development for mobile devices’, <em>Communications of the ACM</em>, vol. 56, no. 4, pp. 42–48.<br><br>The authors of this article discuss how web development has developed to suit the mobile world. They look at the limitations of a mobile device and the improvements that have occurred for all web development during this shift. The authors convey how when designing a website, new limitations have occurred due to what is possible on a mobile device instead of a desktop. This will assist me within the project as I will need to think about what will also suit a mobile device compared to just a desktop. <br><br>Tavin, K 2002, ‘Engaging Advertisements: Looking for Meaning In and Through Art Education’, <em>Visual Arts Research</em>, vol. 28, no. 2, pp. 38–47.<br><br>This article explores the art education and how this can assist a responder to develop critical approaches to interrupt the visuals presented. The author looks at a range of advertisements and the impacts they have. To determine the success of these ads the criteria uses students from his classes to see their initial reaction and thoughts. I believe that from this article I can find a different way to convey my message. This article was published in 2002 which may result in the techniques not being as successful as they are presented.</div>]]></description>

My main choice for this is blue being described as a trusting and strong colour which presents well with the business I will be promoting. We get a break down of each colour with samples, stats and pros and cons from each. The post coming from Hubspot which is a leading marketing and sales organisation speaks strongly to the data presented.
