I choose making the breakfast sandwich. It's something that I make almost every day, and I constantly fine tune it to make sure that it's as tasty and as calorie dense as it can be, and I also have a very specific process that I go through to make sure that it's time efficient, so it will work well to film since I already have a good step-by-step worked out.

The purpose of the film is to show you and my classmates this enjoyable and tasty recipe that I am passionate about and really enjoy both making and eating. I'm excited about making it because even as I write this I have a flood of cool shots that I could get of cracking eggs, cutting the avocado, toasting the bread, etc., and I think I can make a really cool end result. 

The three most important points this video needs to make are that 1.) I'm very particular about the way I make my food - I have an unhealthy relationship with food, where I sometimes won't eat enough. As an athlete, that's unacceptable, so I track every morsel of food to make sure I'm eating enough, and that should come through so that the audience knows I am dedicated to making sure I get the nutrition I need. 2.) The sandwich is easy to make in principle, yet hard to get right with the materials I have. Since we moved out of the old house and away from the gas stove, the electric stove is much harder to gauge the temperature with, which can result in fried eggs that aren't the greatest, and the proper amount of toastiness for the bread is also crucial. And the avocado is a toss-up - sometimes I get a beautiful bright green one, which is also hard. 3.) I'm excited about the sandwich - it's not just something that I make, it's something that I look forward to eating while I make it. So a level of passion should come through as well.

In the end, I want the audience to feel like that sandwich looks incredible and like they  should make one, too, even if it's not breakfast time - it suits all hours of the day.

The one thing, if nothing else, that I want my audience to remember is that I really enjoy the process. I don't want the audience to walk away thinking that I just made the video & the recipe because I had to, but because I genuinely enjoy doing both.
