Mongols benefited Europe in many different ways. In addition, the Mongol empire brought the Eurasian world together and initiated better contact within each other. Enabling people to travel and to write about their travels gave helpful advice about their trip (guidebooks) to other traders. A trader, Marco Polo whom was European made a visit to China. Polo was able to travel throughout the silk roads. He served Kublai Khan for 17 years. On his trip he brought back to Europe several Asian languages and he described the wealth and extravagant cities he had seen there. After the descriptions Polo gave Europe realized there were trade routes which they had been ignorant of. Overall these travels had outcomes that helped other traders and put Europe in a position where they needed to catch up in different trade routes and etc.

What evidence can prove that the Mongols were a negative force?

Francesco Petrarch, Black Death source, 1349, "Has what happened in these years ever been read about: empty houses, derelict cities, ruined estates, fields strewn with cadavers, a horrible and vast solitude encompassing the whole world? Consult historians, they are silent; ask physicians, they are stupefied; seek answers from philosophers, they shrug their shoulders, furrow their brows, and with fingers pressed against their lips, bid you be silent. Will posterity believe these things, when we who have seen it can scarcely believe it?" This quote should be accepted as credible evidence of Mongol crimes because it shows how the plague those heretics brought to our home has affected our lives. These people are clearly the spawn of Satan himself, for nothing else could possibly affect our people in such a way. Even the most intelligent of people working their minds day and night for an answer for what is going on are absolutely baffled. Whenever you go outside to tend to your crops or animals, you risk suffering a fate worse than death. The Mongols brought this horrible plague to us, and if you ask many of the people dying on the streets they will whisper in their weak voices, so close to death, that the Mongols deserve retribution. The merchants may not agree with the people, but who will buy their goods when the people are all dead?
