Prompt: If I had to compare this book to another piece of media, it would have to be the game and show “The Last of Us.” The reason I think of this is because most of the world is infected with something and how there are certain areas around the world that are safe places for survivors.

Prompt: A song that matches the mood of the book so far is the song “Creep.” The reason is because of mainly the line “I don’t belong here” because Melanie knows that her and everyone else on the base has been ostracized from the world. Yet, the general and everyone else there is somehow bamboozling them from the truth. Melanie still knows that she doesn’t belong there and that she wants to go to Beacon.

Prompt: The reason that I chose this meme is because the teacher was showing the students some plants since spring just started. Here are some of the flowers that were shown: Red champion, rosemary, daffodils, and medlar.

Prompt: One plot twist that would bamboozle the reader would be if the entire story was just a dream. This would make the entire story feel like a feckless joke.
