When reading this patient's history, this image encaptures what I pictured this patient to be like in my head. I read about a young woman, in her room, laying on the floor. Dishevelled, covered in feces and crying. This image represents to me a person who is holding themself close, not in a great living condition who needs help. This is exactly how I feel about the patient I am assigned to in my mental health placement.

This is a very powerful website created by Queen's University students. These students created artwork that symbolized something to them and wrote what they were trying to encapture. Titles of art include "Grounded in Peace" discussing "education means healing and healing requires balance of the self". Another example titled "Intergenerational Healing" which discusses colonial violence, oppression and attempted erasure of Indigenous identities.
