Inquiry lessons for science need to be in everyday curriculum. Inquiry helps students learn and not be so dependent on the teacher.
This website talks about how children learn science best. It helps them see how we need to teach it in our classrooms to fully benefit the students. It talks about how the classroom has to be a place for positive self talk and attitudes. Attitudes are a big thing in being a teacher because we sometimes forget that we are the one who needs to help them see that learning is fun because they may not have a great home life.
This helps us as teachers see how we can better help them want to learn science and to get to the route of the problem if they don't like science. Something that stuck out to me was that the administrators must provide a support system for the teachers with materials to teach inquiry lessons in the classroom.
