A few months ago their was a measles outbreak in South Carolina. More than 100 infections were being reported every week. However, after six months and nearly 1,000 cases, the outbreak took a dramatic turn in the right direction. Over the weekend, the South Carolina Department of Public Health said no new cases had been confirmed for 42 days, leading to an announcement on Monday that the outbreak is officially over. People taking vaccines and staying quarantined helped beat back the disease.

A US Navy warship lost power and propulsion for several hours in the Indo Pacific on Tuesday, a US defense official said, after suffering what a Navy statement called an “engineering casualty” in its electrical system. The Higgins “experienced a loss of power throughout the ship,” Commander Matthew Comer had stated who is a spokesperson for the US 7th Fleet. They think that it was a smoking or sparking in the power that caused the ship to lose the power.

Epstein supposedly wrote a suicide note before his death that was found by his cellmate. The police thought that his cellmate was trying to harm Epstein and kill him, but he then found a note saying it was "time to say goodbye." Epstein was not on the watch for suicidal thoughts or intentions because of a suicide test he took.

A person of interest is now in custody after shooting took place where 2 bank employees in central Kentucky. On Thursday in Berea around 2pm a masked man walked into a US bank shot 2 employees and walked out. As of right now the police haven't posted if the masked man took anything. The police don't know if the man escaped on foot or in a vehicle. This is an active investigation so the police in Berea are telling the public to lock their house up and keep a porch light on.

Four students and school security officer were injured in stabbing at a high school in Washington on Thursday. The suspect, a student at the school in was also injured and is in custody now. The four student victims were in critical condition and are now good. The security officer and suspect took minor injuries. The scene is secure and the incident remains under investigation.

Essa Suleiman, 45, is accused of stabbing two Jewish men in Golders Green on Wednesday, having already attacked another man over a personal dispute in south London.

The prosecutor Emma Harraway told the court Suleiman had attacked Ishmail Hussein at his home in Southwark. He had then travelled to Golders Green, in north-west London, arriving shortly after 11am, and attacked two Jewish men.

Prosecutors said he first set upon Shloime Rand, 34, before attacking 76-year-old Norman Shine. They said both men were clearly identifiable as Orthodox Jews by their clothing.

They said another member of the public, who was not named in court, saw the attack on Shine and tried to disarm Suleiman. Further charges are being considered in respect of Suleiman’s alleged actions towards that man.

Prosecutors said Suleiman had been arrested after officers used a stun gun, adding that Suleiman had had a “medical episode” while on the ground that required hospital treatment.

They have spent decades trying to find the killer. Her husband, Paul Hicks, who met her in highschool, tried divorcing her the day after she went missing. According to Regina's cousin, the relationship was very toxic. She was on the way to pick up her son from her husbands friends house when she disappeared. She was found 5 days later with 3 strikes to the top of her head. They tried to convict her husband in trial but there wasn't enough evidence, causing a stand still. During the standstill, someone looked over the footage and found someone, Steve Gates. Gates was given immunity in trial so people decided to interview him again. He said that he found Regina and Paul told him she was dead. He then told him he was going to drive her into a lake and exit it before it was too late.

The director said that they are expecting twice the numbers from last year's May Day protests. After the collapse and deconstruction of Spirit airlines, the final flight of a pilot near retirement was cancelled alongside many other flights. Southwest airlines, another airliner like Spirit, had caught wind of that final flight being cancelled. The airline had given the pilot, who would have previously been pushed into retirement without any celebration, the standard celebration for a pilots last flight, with water shot over the jet for his final flight.
