Math
- You can create a die out of card stock paper with different things like president, vice president, supreme court, federal courts, congress, senate, and house of representatives written on each side of the dice. You could even have the functions on a side (make laws, carries out laws, interprets laws). The students will partner up and take turns rolling the dice. On a separate piece of paper they will create a bar graph with Legislative, Executive, and Judicial written at the bottom. When they roll the die they must graph what they rolled. For example president would go onto the Executive part of the graph. During this activity students are becoming familiar with the three branches of government as well as practicing their graphing.
