In the studio there are plenty of people participating on the event, like the two interviewers, Kylie Kelce, the cameramen, who are filming the event so it can be seen, the sound engineer, the people who are outside on the street, watching the interview live, as well as the audience who is watching or listening to the stream, probably at home.

The register is semi-formal because it is a relaxed talk but at the same time it is professional because it is an interview which is being televised and it is informative.

In this interview the questions have been carefully planned and scripted and probably Kylie has been informed about what she was going to be asked about, but as it is a semi-formal space there is room for the spontaneous, too.

“It’s kind of a pain in the butt” meaning that something is annoying.

“He’s my husband so I’m biased” meaning that because of the relationship they have, she can not be objective when talking about him.

The tense Kylie is using at the moment of speaking is present simple because she is basically describing her husband and she is also describing her feelings and her opinion about him.

Kylie has a fluent spoken discourse, although the rhythm is paused because she is reflecting on what she is saying and she wants to transmit a clear message. She speaks naturally and relaxed as a sign of being comfortable. She is talking in “mid pitch” during the interview because she is having a conversation. However, when she is talking about her husband her voice is in “high pitch" because she is showing her emotions and enthusiasm.
