I have 2 other siblings; an older brother and a younger sister, aged 23 and 12. I am currently pursuing my studies at University Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia, or also known as IIUM, majoring in KIRKHS Usul Al-Din comparative religion and alhamdulillah it has been a joyous and wonderful year and a half.
SCHOOL LIFE BEFORE UNIVERSITY

I was transferred to a school named Madrasah Al Junied Al Islamiah for my secondary and pre university studies. I graduated in the year 2021, spending a total of 7 years in Madrasah Al Junied Al Islamiah. You might question, why some student only spent 6 years in their secondary and pre university level; ? That is because, I was forced to repeat my secondary 4 classes due to my results being bad. But despite that, school life then was a pleasure; filled with laughter and beautiful moments that i will cherish until my last breath. I could have never made it without my friends and teachers, not forgetting my parents along with their endless prayers for my safety and success. One of the best memories that i cherish is when i finally graduated from Madrasah Al Junied Al Islamiah. It felt so surreal! Never have I ever felt so content seeing the faces of my friends, teachers, siblings and parents. It was a memory so beautiful. Indeed Allah SWT is the best of planners. Continuing my journey, I landed at IIUM as my next step in pursuing my studies and I can happily say that I made the right choice.

You can never live your life without having at least one hobby. I myself have two!

Firstly, testing and collection fragrances from all around the world. Only recently I started to pick up this hobby; in the late 2021. This started during the covid lockdown times, where i was scrolling my social media and stumbled upon a channel that talks about 'Best Fragrances for Men' I clicked said channel/video and the rest is history. As of now, I have a total of 20 fragrances in my collection and more are to come. My favourite scent of all time is from the house of Parfumes De Marly, Layton, a fragrance yet to be in my collection but I will get a hold of it in the never future insyallah! . My nose had matured amazingly; picking up 'notes' in a fragrance and naming them effortlessly upon smelling a scent.

Secondly, music. Music have always been in life as a source of destress, creativity, expression and such. I picked up a guitar at the age of 15 and have been playing it ever since, both as leisure and professionally. My love for music was through the roof as I paid a good amount of money in online music lessons and classes. I practiced everyday to be better at playing the guitar, to the point that i was called by a producer and composer to join his band as a guitarist. To this day, I believe that hobbies are not merely an activity to kill time but instead they are useful skill that can bring benefit to ones life.

POSTER

In USRAH 1 (CCUB 1061 SECT 102), my groupmates and I put together a useful poster regarding a question that got everyone thinking: "Are All Bad Endings Bad For Us?" Our poster will help to address the topic that everyone has been pondering. We'll work through it together. Said poster can be found in the link sent. As we can see, there are three elements to consider while answering the topic that has been on everyone's mind.

Firstly, Personal Development. When we are forced to face a horrible scenario or ending, it does not imply we have to give up or degrade ourselves; rather, it helps us grow strength physically as well as intellectually as well as being disciplined.

Secondly Approach It Positively. Look at the unfortunate ending not in a negative light or as a train crash, but in a positive light or on the bright side, and take the time to learn and grow.

Lastly, analyzing the story's moral and lessons. So Allah SWT gives tests and tasks to demonstrate affection and love. Allah SWT tests those He loves, and it is also a way for Him to show kindness in order for our faults to be forgiven.

Usrah is an arabic term which means, 'family' This subject acts as an eye opener and exposure to students from various backgrounds. Together, we discuss Islamic topics and find out the importance of things which at first seemed rather petty to me. The way I think was further enhanced and I became more 'open-minded' in dealing and facing problems. I must say, brother Naqfis, my beloved mentor, did an amazing job leading and educating us all the importance of said things, conducting the class with grace. Laid back, but effective; starting the class with surah Al fatihah and ending it with surah Al Mulk, followed by tasbih kafarah and surah Al Asr. Isn't that amazing ? Thank you brother Naqfis for the knowledge that you showered upon us. May Allah SWT bless us all with His love, care and knowledge.

MID SEM BREAK

During my mid-semester break, I had the wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with my family and friends, creating lasting memories through various activities. One of the highlights of the break was going on cycling adventures with my family. We explored scenic trails in our area, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful landscapes. Each ride was filled with laughter and bonding moments, whether we were racing down hills or taking leisurely breaks to appreciate nature. These outings not only strengthened our family ties but also encouraged us to stay active and healthy together.

In addition to family time, I also made sure to catch up with friends. We organized a few get-togethers; to just 'lepak' and chill until the night is over. These gatherings were a perfect way to unwind and share stories about our lives. It was refreshing to reconnect and enjoy each other's company, reminding me of the importance of friendship in balancing life’s demands.

These events reminded me of a verse in the Quran, Chapter Hujrat, verse 10, which goes:

إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ إِخۡوَةٞ فَأَصۡلِحُواْ بَيۡنَ أَخَوَيۡكُمۡۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ

Also in Chapter An-Nisa, verse 36 :

Overall, my mid-semester break was a perfect blend of family bonding through cycling and reconnecting with friends. These experiences not only rejuvenated my spirit but also reinforced the value of spending time with loved ones. I returned to my studies feeling refreshed and grateful for the meaningful connections in my life and most importantly feeling fueled with motivation to complete my current semester.
