Instead of having to make the long trip to the copy machine in the front office it helps to have a printer in the classroom. If I need an extra copy I can print one up really quick. All my favorite worksheets I save over the years I can scan and save to my computer. Instead of having all my papers in a filing cabinet I have them all saved on a neat file on my computer. This creates such easy access anywhere. Making things easier for the teacher is a quality we should look for in all classroom tools. If my class is studying about the Great Wall of China all I have to do is play a Virtual Reality clip of the Great Wall of China. My students will feel as if they are their experiencing it but they will never have to leave their seat. There are also new advancements in Virtual Reality where they have become interactive with gloves students can wear. With this device students can experience things they could never experience before. Experiencing different times and events is a greater learning tool than reading. This Interactive tool will allow students to come up and use their hands to physically answer the questions. IT is a great tool to get all visual learners to better understand. When the students sit down they have all the content at their fingertips. They can work with their hands and do not require any other tools. The table is a touch screen and can be worked on by different students at one time. This means that a group of students can sit and this table and work. This table takes away the need for paper and pencils on the table. I would have loved to work with this item as a young student.
