Novela's platform powers a referral network that connects engaged couples with wedding venues and vendors. As CEO, Healey oversees product development and strategy for the fast-growing company he founded in 2022.

Prior to Novela, Healey started several other businesses including Hotelicopter in 2006, a hotel meta-search engine; B&B in 2012, a hospitality tech firm; and Samba Digital Media in 1998, an e-services firm based in Prague that he founded after leaving investment bank Salomon Smith Barney.

Over his career, the serial entrepreneur has launched companies across North America, Europe and Asia. His successful track record as a founder includes raising over $25 million in funding for his various businesses.

A resident of Charlottesville and University of Virginia alumnus, Healey has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Entrepreneurs in Virginia by the Virginia Venture Partners association. He is also a member of UVA's prestigious Raven Society honorary organization.

Beyond his business accomplishments, Healey has been an adjunct teaching entrepreneurship at his alma mater UVA, and authored published articles on entrepreneurship topics. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce and an MBA from the University of Virginia. In his free time, Healey enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and kiteboarding as well as tennis, exercising and cooking.
