Low ability of kids can be engaged for period length e.g. 3 x 20 min activities 
Fits the needs of the majority of OUR students
Our major competition is from traditional schools
Perhaps a double or triple block that students can choose to action
Meeting our students regularly helps
Relates to time allocated at intermediate 
Reduces number of shared classes
One period after lunch

Year 9 students have lots of choice
Hour slot is suited to low ability students.
An hour of PE is great-90 minutes would be too long.
Have devoted time on each subject
Like Wednesday- glad it is not 6 periods
An hour is suited to the\is cohort of students- would struggle to stay on task for longer
Like one hour after lunch
Good balance of academic and "other"- 
Having students 4 times a week is good. 
Like HUB every morning
Learning module is fun
