Blood can be donated by donors who are at least 16 years old.
Firstly, people who want to donate blood go to the donor centre. There, a form is filed out and the donor's health is checked . Secondly, a needle is inserted by a nurse, and blood is collected. After that, the blood  is safely transported to a blood bank in order to separate, test and keep it in stock until required. When they arrived there, the boxes are registered and the blood is carefully separated by centrifuge for 10 minutes. The boxes are stored in stock before orders are taken. Lastly, when they take an order from a hospital, donated blood is quickly transported to that hospital.
