As we move into the summer term, we know this is a particularly busy and important period, with exams, assessments and next‑step transitions very much at the forefront. I want to take a moment to recognise the enormous effort you and your teams put into supporting young people through this demanding part of the academic year, and to remind you that we are here to support you in any way we can.

We also hope to see many of you at our end‑of‑year Careers Hub conference in June, which will be a great opportunity to reflect on the year, share good practice and look ahead together.

For students with additional needs, we are delivering 3 remote accessible placements this summer. They are designed to be educator-led, so an educator will need to book on their group of students and broadcast the sessions out on the day.

These opportunities have been designed with input from educators across SEND schools, Pupil Referral Units, hospital-based schools, and units supporting students with SEMH needs, considering the practical and logistical requirements that make participation manageable and meaningful.
