The main reason why there are so many gang members in the United States is the bad economy. The bad economy causes people to lose their jobs. They are faced with money issues and search for other, often illegal, ways to make money. That’s when most people get in touch with gangs. 

Gangs are responsible for 48% of the violent crimes, which is an enormous part. The U.S. government tries to get a hold on the situation and the gangs by restricting the possession of drugs, alcohol, weapons etc. However, they are still not able to control the situation around the gangs; The gangs still control and rule most streets in the United States.

The reason why Hollywood is and was such a popular place to shoot is because of the advantage of natural sunlight, beautiful mountains, beaches, forests etc. Therefore, producers are able to shoot scenes in so many different surroundings. 

The first studio in Hollywood was founded by Centaur Company in 1911, who wanted to shoot in California. They rented a abandoned diner on Sunset Boulevard and turned it into a successful studio. A few years later, in 1914, the first film named “an Indian husband” was made in Hollywood. The fame of Hollywood started during the era of “silent cinema”. This means the movies were shown without sound. When Hollywood began producing movies which contained sound, it entered a period or great success and by the 1920’s it was the fifth-largest industry in the United States; Hollywood was now a cultural icon.
 
Hollywood continued to grow and by the early 1960’s it also began to attract television studios and record companies. Right now, Hollywood is a popular place for producers and visitors, as it’s a cultural icon. 

Geologist estimate that the Colorado river first started to cut its way through the rocks about 17 million years ago. The walls of the Grand Canyon are formed by nearly 40 identified rock layers which reveal a timeline of Earth’s history. Due to it’s huge size, the Grand Canyon is home to 1500 kinds of plant, 47 reptile species, 355 bird species and 17 fish species. 

The first European known to have seen the Grand Canyon is García López de Cárdenas, a Spanish explorer. He went on an expedition to find a large river north of Cíbola, of which he received reports. After travelling for twenty days they arrived at the gorge of a huge river; they had just discovered one of nature’s wonders without even knowing it. 

In 1919 the Grand Canyon achieved a National Park status. The park was enlarged in 1975, which meant it would include other areas from then on. In March 2007 an attraction was opened: The Grand Canyon Skywalk, which is glass walkaway 4,000 feet above the canyon floor. The attraction has become popular among the visitors; over 300,000 people walk over this glass skywalk each year!

Hawaii is the 50^th and most recent State to have joined the United States and is the only State in the U.S. that is made up entirely out of 8 major islands: Nihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lānai, Kahoolawe, Maui, and the Island of Hawaii. 

The earliest inhabitants were Polynesian settlers who lived there between 300 and 600 AD. The first reported European to have visited Hawaii is Captain James Cook, who visited Hawaii in 1778. After his documented visit, many other Europeans and Americans came to visit the Island. The estimated population of Hawaii currently is 1.4 million. However, the island welcomes approximately over 8 million tourist every year, which shows that Hawaii is seen an ultimate place to spent your holiday. 

The first things that often come to mind when people think about Hawaii are sandy beaches, surfers, hula dancing, volcanoes etc. All of these aspects form the Hawaii culture, which is mix of different ethnic groups and cultures. The Hawaiian culture is filled with fascinating traditions, music and values. Hawaiian people are known as very relaxed and friendly, which makes it the perfect destination to relax and enjoy all the beautiful aspects that the world has to offer us.
