Reflection about this session will be probably the least reflective reflection I’ve ever made as today I learned nothing new. Today we once again had a close look at how to write reflection, critical evaluation and how the double diamond process looks like. I feel like last year I really developed my writing self-evaluation skills and I studied double diamond enough that today’s session brought nothing new to me. Of course, I am not saying I am an expert about those two things, there are lots of things to learn & practice and I’m sure working on upcoming projects will develop my knowledge more. Looking back at my work last year, I feel like I made a big development on the double diamond process between projects 1&2 where I was working with this process for the first time and I didn't know yet how it all works out. I’ve been having theoretical knowledge from workshops but the practical part - working On a project really developed my understanding and skill of using DD. But of course, I still feel like there’s loooots of space for development and can’t wait to see how it will all change during this year of learning.

Today we had our first session where we got to know the brief of our 1st project - pitch and kick.
Feelings: what were you thinking and feeling?
I am interested in it as I’ve never done anything like pitch zine and Kickstarter and it seems like a pretty fun thing to do. At first, I got worried as I am planning my fmp to be about branding/rebranding and I couldn’t come up with an idea of how to make a pitch for a branding project. By looking at different examples of how pitches and Kickstarter videos look and finding out what they are about by the end of the session I started to understand the whole thing better and ended up with many many ideas I can use. I’m happy about making this project as it’s linked to our final project and I think the final outcome will be a good base for everyone to start working on fmp, it will make the whole process easier (hopefully).
I’m also excited about making a Kickstarter as I’m always into working with motion and getting better at it.
