After the defeat of Germany in 1918 WWI, Germany became a very weak a restricted country. And because of this unstableness in their government and people, Hitler easily could manipulate and rise to power. His extremist views put fear in the people and government allowing them to follow him. In 1933 after the president of Germany died he became in full control of the power and nation. His rise in popularity and control over the people made it hard to stop him and his cause.
