Alfie started his show shine business and made a few penny’s for his mother to have to afford food and extra costs, they also checked out what train to take to get to war, Alfie also thinks his dads dead.
When Alfie was walking through the train station he was telling a story about when him and his dad went there so  supposably “ going to see the trains” but they were actually going to get his Dad train tickets to go to the war.
