The Crucible
Introduction to the importance of understanding context (time, place, circumstances around production). Groups chose from a list of relevant topics and worked together over two lessons to compile slides to present and to share with the class via Managebac. Historical research sounds dull, but the focus on witches helped! As did the inclusion of modern-day cases of 'mass hallucination' events and the film 'The Falling'.
