Field trips help bridge formal and informal knowledge, and prepare students for lifelong learning.

Learning needs to involve the real world; virtual field trips provide educators with the opportunity to make learning come alive in a way that textbooks cannot.

Traditional field trips are too costly and too much of a liability. Virtual field trips provide students and educators with an enjoyable way to explore a given topic without the overbearing cost.

Virtual field trips can also be applied to students with handicaps or educational exceptionalities by giving them unlimited opportunities to “travel” virtually.
