Meanwhile having a destination audit is important because it outlines the procedure for conducting a thorough, methodical, and recurring analysis of a place to determine its resources' advantages and disadvantages.

This audit would also outline the importance of event tourism because it plays a significant role in the overall tourism industry and it has some key importance:

In general, event tourism focuses on the wider socioeconomic advantages an event provides to the host location in addition to its immediate effects.

• Arts and Music: Brighton's artistic community is thriving, presenting a diverse range of artistic disciplines through festivals such as the Brighton Festival and Fringe. It is renowned for its live music scene as well, offering a wide range of live music venues to suit different tastes.

• Cultural Landmarks: In addition to the Royal Pavilion, the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery and the Theatre Royal Brighton are examples of cultural landmarks that provide information about the history and artistic expression of the city.

·       The Royal Pavilion also attracts a lot of tourists because of its distinctive architecture, lovely gardens, and historical significance. The beach, retail districts, cultural events, and vibrant nightlife all add to Brighton's appeal as a tourist destination in and of itself.

Natural attractions:

Brighton is known for its vibrant city life, but it also boasts several natural attractions that add to its charm:

·       Brighton Beach: One of the main draws is this pebble beach. It's ideal for taking a leisurely stroll, tanning, or taking in the sea breeze. One of the most noticeable structures along the shore is Brighton Pier.

• On a typical weekday there are 120 scheduled rail journeys between London (All Stations) and Brighton (East Sussex) , with 114 of them being direct trains.

• The distance by rail from London (All Stations) to Brighton (East Sussex) is approximately 46 miles (75 kilometres). The average train journey takes about 1hrs 8 mins.
