I love that it was written in verse! Very relatable - everyone feels different and on the outside at some point. Loss and grief are beautifully written, definitely a tear jerker!

I loved the characters in this story, they were so relatable & just wholeheartedly good! This is definitely a feel good story w/ equal parts love, hope, and a desire for a family that you just know is going to disappoint. I kept waiting to see how the author would handle Marcus and his search for his father, and I liked how it played out.

Great story! I really enjoyed the way that Zoey learned to stand up for herself and her family. I also liked that it forced you to think about things from a new perspective.
