Take your pennies out of the salt & vinegar solution, then

DISCUSS:

Do you see any changes in the pennies?
Do you see any changes in the liquid?

The change in the pennies is that they are shinier REALLY shiny. But, the solution actually changed from clear to a sort of yellowish color. The salt and vinegar changed the pennies just like in the video on how the salt and vinegar solution changed steel into copper.

I think the pennies changed but the liquid did not because the rust is so small we might not be able to see it.I think the color changed from the rust but the rust is too small to see.I see that the more corroded pennies didn't get as clean.

The changes that I see in the pennies after taking them out of the solution are that they are a lot shinier. The salt a vinegar liquid changed because all thee corrosion had to go somewhere and that somewhere would have had to been the solution. I think that in order to "renew" the older pennies you might have to leave it in longer.

The changes that I saw in the pennies was that they got shiner. In the video the king discovered that it was only a layer of copper so I know know that if I scratch the pennies that it will still be dirty. The liquid changed its color, from a clear water like substance. It changed the liquid into a yellowish color.
