Hi, all! I have worked (and am currently working) as a family nurse practitioner at Siloam Health for the last 11 years. I love working with patients from all over the world and precepting NP students! I decided to go back and get my DNP last August and wanted to learn more/grow in my ability to teach and precept (maybe wandering into graduate teaching in the future). Hi everyone! My experience in the healthcare setting has centered around the pediatric and neonatal population in a critical care setting. Throughout the years, I have formed a passion in teaching my patients, families, and peers on various topics. I have acted as an educational resource for my department and have recently began teaching ACLS to my peers. I hope to continue shaping this interest with this course and future ones.
