They end up running into two Montague servant which turns into a fight. Benvolio, a member of the Capulets, tries to break up the fight, when Tybalt, a member of the Montagues, arrives and encourages the fight. The ends up into a massive street fight, until the Prince arrives and lectures the two families. 
Once it is resolved, Benvolio is sent to find Romeo. They discuss many things, most importantly Romeos unrequited love that has left him depressed. In revenge for his friend’s death, Romeo seeks out Tybalt and kills him.
