They have the knowledge that comes from working in a similar position and those qualifications would transfer well into the position they applied for. The main thing that I would notice as odd from the perspective of an employer would be the parts of the first paragraph that talk about the job description, as the employer wouldn't need the restatement of what they were looking for.

THey listed their past experiences in a way that shows that the writer knows what the position requires and that she can fill it. They also mentioned where the found the position. The only critique I have is that it is always good to thank the employer at the end of the cover letter, expressing excitement from hearing back is great but it is important to thank them for the time they took to read the cover letter.
