PROJECT ACTIVITIES & TASKS
Another document will be shared regarding web2.0 tool suggesstions for each activity.

1. Welcome Activity
At the beginning of the project, teachers will introduce themselves briefly by voicemail. They will share their feelings about the project.

2. School-Student Introductions
It's up to you how to introduce the school. You can use video or use text and images.
Students will make their own presentations. Students are very curious about their partner schools and their peers. They can make and upload their own cartoons or avatars with web 2.0 tools and introduce themselves briefly. It's also nice to use these characters as a twinspace profile picture.

3. Logo and Slogan
We'll work in teams. The students in the same team will jointly design the logo and design a slogan for the project. You can exchange ideas ahead if you want. You can do video calls or brainstorm for this. We will share the points to be considered. Each team will design at least one logo and one slogan. Logos and slogans will be submitted to vote online. The one with the most votes will be used as the project logo. Three slogans that get the most votes will be used in the posters as the project slogan.

4. Poster Design
We will work in teams (there will be different matches from logo teams). We won't make poster contest or voting. Teams can design as many posters as they want. Each school can disseminate the project with the posters they like. We will share the considerations in design later.

5. Reading Strategies and Exercises

It is a collaborative activity.
We will give brief informations about Reading Strategies/techniques to our students. Our project page will also include related presentations and documents. We will collaborate on the preparation of these documents and upload them to our project page. It is not necessary to create a presentation from scratch. Compilation is available from ready-made sources.
We will use these presentations and reading comprehension activities in our classes. For example, Extensive, Intensive reading will be introduced and scanning and skimming activities will be performed. This event already includes the usual process in our classes. Our aim is to raise awareness of our students and to raise awareness about related techniques and increase their fluency and success in reading.

6. Word associations (ebook- common product)
It is a collaborative activity. We'll work in teams. It consists of two stages. In the first stage, a list of words will be created. We will define these words within certain themes (friendship, natural forces, cooking, on the phone, etc.). In the second stage, word association activity will be done in classes. We will take photos of the students' writings (word assosiations) and create an ebook.

7. Online quizzes (ebook) and Question Pool (Final Products)

Each team will prepare an online quiz about specific themes with a different web2.0 tool. This quiz will be shared with the partners and the students will solve the quiz. We will share a list of web2 tools that can be used to prepare an online quiz. It is not necessary to make quizzes as multiple choice tests. Some tools can be prepared in the form of a word puzzle or word matching.

Each school will write 3 questions for each theme. The questions should be authentic, not copy paste from any source. There should be 1 easy, 1 difficult question. When all questions are completed, our online question book will be available. In this document, the logo of our project and the names of the partners and schools will be included. You will love this product when the project is finished.

8. Survivor: Translate Challenge
A fun activity to do in any class. Divide your students into two groups. The first competitor who overcomes the obstacles and reaches the target is entitled to translate the sentence. If he does it correctly, he starts throwing a basket (or whatever game you decide). You can adapt the survivor game. As long as there is translation there may be differences in the competition procedures. It's even nicer if it's different. We will create an online document for the sentences. This document will be created as sample translation text.

9. Preparing Motivation Video (Common Product)
It is a collaborative activity. Each school will prepare a collage video with few sentences. the video should have a motivating, encouraging sound for students regarding national exams and english questions. We will create the text with the contributions of our students and partner teachers. Brainstorming activity can be used for this. We will share the sentences after preparing the text. Everyone will take their sentence and send it to the responsible person.When our collage video is complete, it will be shared on Twinspace.

10. Creating Mindmap and Word Clouds about project

This is a collaborative activity. Each teacher and student will ad ideas about the project and activities. So that a mindmap will be created. Then the ideas will be used to create word clouds. Finally, both mindmap and word clouds will be shared on Twinspace.

11. Online Project Magazine (Final Product)

Activities, products and ideas about the project will be added to the magazine.
