put effort into homework and classwork

if you don't understand ask -good- questions and help others who don't understand either once it gets explained to you.

stay on task and don't have any side conversations unless neccesary.

always pay attention and listen to the teacher when he/she is talking

be mature when learning awkward topics 

treat all adults with great respect ( this includes substitutes and helpers).
