There are multiple advantages and disadvantages to not fighting. On one hand, not fighting is safer, at least for the moment, and would help an individual as well as their community avoid conflict. Siding with the losing side can then cause further conflict and endanger more people. On the other hand, engaging in the fight could be an opportunity to gain power. This provides a chance to defeat and get rid of the Aztecs, who 'you hate.' If you join the side that ends up being victorious, you could potentially gain power. 

2. In my opinion, the lesser of the two evils would be the fierce invaders, despite the fact that you know very little about them. Because you know more about the Aztecs and are aware that they are oppressors, you shouldn't side with them. Though you know little about the invaders, you can take the risk of supporting them as it is possible for them to be good, unlike the Aztecs, who you already know you dislike. It also gives you the opportunity to get rid of the Aztecs and gain power. 2) From the 2 evils, I would choose to go fight with the Aztecs, as T'challa did, since he went to go with the other tribe in Wakanda, to fight against the invaders to their country. and this turned out to become positive, with that information I would know what decision to make. When living as a Native American in Mexico, there are both Advantages and disadvantages of not fighting. If you were to fight the Aztecs, there is a chance of winning against them and forcing them to leave which would benefit you and your people. This would mean you would get rid of the Aztecs and be able to gain a lot more power. On the other hand the disadvantages would weight on the worser side. If you are losing the fight theres a chance that you will be killed in battle or your home and families will be killed as well. Another disadvantage when being a Native American in Mexico is not gaining anything from the fights.

In my opinion from the two evils, I would chose to side on the Aztecs. Since this would be a more logical decision, the Aztecs appear more powerful and have a higher chance of defeating their enemy. One advantage of fighting is that you'll probably get rid of the Aztecs that have oppressed you for so long, and another advantage is you could probably share some of the loot you'd gain if you won against the Aztecs. But these are all "ifs". An obvious disadvantage is that you have a high chance of getting yourself killed in the conflict, another disadvantage is that what if the "invaders" are even worse than the  Aztecs that were once oppressing them, and even if  you won against the conflict then whats next, do you  continue your peaceful life  the way it is, how do you pick a ruler, the tribe leader? Not fighting obviously means you gain nothing from the conflict, or maybe you do if the Spanish win and they're all good and pure hearted people that would help you(which they are not) but you get to be safe if you don't join the conflict, which is a huge plus. But then again the Spanish could invade your territory if they wanted to. 
2. The lesser of 2 evils is probably the Aztecs because the Fierce invaders will murder and make your whole kind extinct. 

Honestly the best thing to do is to run away from the conflict leaving with fear for the rest of your life because its probably better than having to eat your native food with a name you have no idea how to pronounce.

Not fighting is avoiding self-harm and harm to others since it can lead to permanent injuries for both sides. Not fighting will avoid conflicts which is for the best. On the other hand you can gain a lot of power if you do fight. That might mean getting rid of the Aztecs, although that will only happen if you win the fight.

Once of the most valuable resources that an army has, are the people, and sending an army of soldiers into a fight that is blind, and uncertain would be a choice that would have a high risk of loss. On the other hand, defeating the Aztecs can be both a good and bad thing. On the bright side, you have the Aztecs, so getting rid of them would positively contribute to your power and society, but on the other hand, you don't know the newcomers. If you know nothing about them, then there is a large change that they may be more detrimental than the Aztecs. 

Q2: I think that supporting the Aztecs would be a smarter move. Although we hate them, we are still able to live with them, even though they might be a pain. When we know nothing about the newcomers, we don't know the capacity of their power. They might have a huge military advantage over us, and after helping them defeat the Aztecs, they could come for us. If I would not join the fight I would stand by Aztec's side and that would not be great at all because 1. Spanish people would probably like to kill me and 2. I would be on the side that none of "my people" is standing at.
