I think being from Colombia has made me an early riser, it's common for us to get up very early here. It's also influenced my taste in food; I love soups, tamales, arepas, and other Colombian dishes. It's also influenced my musical tastes. I feel like that's why I sometimes listen to upbeat music, people here love to dance, and that's a big distinguishing feature of Latinos, including Colombians.

Being Colombian means being a happy, kind person who makes people feel at home, and most importantly, someone who never gives up.

Being from Cali means feeling joy when you hear salsa, enjoying chicken sancocho on Sundays, eating fried food on the corner, or having a cholado at the Pan American sports complex.

Also, on the religious side, many Colombians, and especially those from Cali, are Catholic or Christian. What unites them is their faith in God.

What make us

Cata: In my case what makes me Colombian is that I like sancocho, Ajiaco, I celebrate the important dates like: Christmas, candles day, Saint week, but the think that make me be me it's music like J-Rock and I appreciate the sentimental lyrics, I like sushi and other cultures of Asia, that it's what makes me be me.

I have grown in a Colombian context, that's why I follow the most iconic traditions here, the way of I talk to others, the food, the words i use, and a sense of community of Colombians, are something that makes me Colombian, but I was shaping as me because of music, i learned how to feel, and the importance of feelings.

I am colombian because one of my favorite outdoor plans is to visit a small town near a city where you can eat special food of the town, meet the historical monuments if there are any and experience the activities of the locals. And because I love to hang out with everybody and be a good friend.
