Sun 2:00 PM- Marcel is found face down dead on the floor of his garage. They confirmed that he was dead and medical examiners came and collected his body.

Sun 1:45- Police travel to Newgard's home to do a well-being check to make sure he is okay.

Sun 1:30- Naomi Lee calls the police asking them to do a well-being check.

Sun 12:00- Cam texts Marcel asking where he is.

Cause/Mechanism/Manner of Death

The abscessed tooth he had allowed bacteria to travel through his bloodstream into his heart causing bacterial endocarditis, which when left untreated can cause death. The bacterial infection affected the heart valves, which reduced blood flow to the body, causing him to go into heart failure. The manner of death is determined to be natural. The cause of death is Bacterial Endocarditis.

Marcel Newguard's case is suggested to be closed. No suspects should be taken into the court. His death was determined to be natural because he died of a naturally occurring infection. All of the DNA samples were tested and confirmed that only Marcel Newguard's DNA was found. The polygraph data wasn't needed because the death was determined to be natural and no suspects were proven guilty. Nobody should be held accountable for Marcel Newguard's naturally occurring death.

Toxicology

Marcel Newgard's toxicology report showed that he had ingested 65 mg/l of caffeine, however only levels between 80-180 mg/l are known to cause caffeine related deaths. He also tested positive for 20 mg/l of acetaminophen which at those levels help with pain relief. 160mg/l and above would be considered lethal. Therefore, the caffeine and the Acetaminophen that he ingested did not play a part in his death.

Marcel Newgard was a 23-year-old college student born on December 12th. He was friends with Cam Banks and Aiden Santori. He had a sister, Jenn Newgard. Marcel was found face down in his garage at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 1st. After a forensic autopsy was performed, the cause of death was determined to be bacterial endocarditis. An abscessed tooth caused bacteria to spread to his heart through his bloodstream, causing the infection. The bacteria collecting around his heart valves caused the heart not to pump enough blood, leading to heart failure. The manner of death is determined to be natural.

Marcel Newgard’s fingerprint pattern is the only one out of their persons of interest that is a right loop. The fingerprint found on the baseball was also a right loop, since only Marcel’s fingerprint was a right loop we can identify that the fingerprint on the bat belonged to him.

Hair Evidence

The hair found at the scene was light with a dark medulla. Marcel Newgard and Jenn Newgard both have hair that has light cortex's and dark medullas. The only difference between them is the fact that Marcel Newgard’s medulla is more broken up than Jenn’s. The hair found at the scene had more spaces in the medulla which matches Marcel Newgard’s hair.
