I have two older sisters, Christina and Kim. Kim went to an Ivy League school and Christina is about to graduate from Georgia Tech so they're definitely role models to me.

My mom is Korean and my dad is white. My mom is a stay at home mom so me and my sisters mostly ate Korean food growing up. She only taught us a little bit of Korean though so we talk to her in English with a little bit of Korean phrases.

My dad served in the military for 28 years and retired in 2018. We didn't move around that much for a military family, which is rare.

I was born in Germany because my dad was stationed there. My parents traveled all over Europe when me and my sisters were all little so I have a lot of baby pictures with random European landmarks in the background.

Growing up in Maryland
